WAU, JUNE 5, 2026 — His Excellency, President Salva Kiir Mayardit, and his accompanying delegation arrived in Wau, Western Bahr el Ghazal State, on Friday morning to a rousing reception.

The President was welcomed by the State Governor, Hon. Sheriff Daniel Sheriff and thousands of citizens who gathered at Wau Airport and lined the roads leading to Wau Stadium.
