
JUBA, June 1, 2026 — The Minister of General Education and Instruction, Dr. Kuyok Abol Kuyok, together with examinations officials have on Monday, presented the 2025 South Sudan Certificate of Secondary Education Examination results to President Salva Kiir Mayardit ahead of their official release
The officials briefed the president on the outcome of the 2025 examinations and the overall performance of candidates across the country. After reviewing the results, President Kiir approved their release and directed the ministry to officially announce them on Tuesday morning.
H.E. the president congratulated the students who sat for the examinations, as well as their parents, teachers, and school administrators, for their dedication and hard work throughout the academic year.
He also encouraged the leadership of the ministry to remain committed to implementing reforms and programs aimed at improving the quality of education nationwide.
The Head of State emphasised the critical need of strengthening South Sudan’s education system to equip the youth with the knowledge and skills needed for building a progressive nation.
Officials say more than 80 percent of the students have passed the examinations.
