JUBA — South Sudan has achieved a significant reduction in malaria cases through a comprehensive prevention and treatment program. The Ministry of Health reports that malaria incidence has dropped by over 30% compared to last year, saving thousands of lives.

The success is attributed to widespread distribution of insecticide-treated bed nets, indoor residual spraying, improved access to diagnostic testing, and effective treatment protocols. International health partners have praised the program as a model for other malaria-endemic countries.
