JUBA, June 12, 2026 — His Excellency, President Salva Kiir Mayardit, returned to Juba on Friday after concluding a week-long visit to Bahr el Ghazal region.

During the tour, the President attended rallies in Wau, Kuajok, and Aweil, where he called on citizens to uphold peace, invest in farming, and prepare for the general elections scheduled for December this year.

Upon his arrival at Juba International Airport, President Kiir was received by the Vice President for the Economic Cluster, Dr. James Wani Igga, together with other senior government officials.
