Kiir Heads to UAE to Discuss Enhancing Investments and Economic Partnership

President Salva Kiir Mayardit departed the capital, Juba, heading to the United Arab Emirates on an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and attracting investments to support the national economy.
The President is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with senior Emirati government officials and business leaders to discuss ways to enhance economic cooperation and expand investment opportunities in South Sudan, particularly in priority sectors.
Presidential Spokesperson Ambassador David Amuor Majur confirmed that the visit focuses on presenting promising investment opportunities in the country to Emirati investors, highlighting recent government reforms to improve the business climate and encourage foreign investment.
President Kiir will also discuss with Emirati leaders several issues of mutual interest, including enhancing regional security and stability, developing trade relations, and establishing strategic partnerships in infrastructure and sustainable development.
This visit comes as part of the diplomatic efforts by the South Sudanese government to strengthen international cooperation and build economic alliances that support post-conflict recovery and reconstruction.
