The committee also directed security agencies to investigate reports of civilian abductions in the Gabor area, allegedly involving rebel elements. About 36 civilians were reportedly abducted in separate incidents, with 30 escaping, while six remain missing. The committee further formed a team to visit Mangalla Administrative Payam to address tensions between the local administration and security forces and strengthen civil-military relations. Security organs have also been directed to intensify surveillance along major roads, including the Juba-Terekeka road, and address land grabbing and other threats to public safety. The resolutions are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security, protect civilians, and maintain peace across Central Equatoria State.<\/p>\n
\n
This report has been compiled, analyzed, and presented by the editorial team at Juba Global News Network.
