The meeting was also attended virtually by regional experts from the East African Community and specialists from the University of Juba, who provided technical guidance on the operationalization of the proposed Centre of Excellence.\u00a0 Acting Minister of Health, Ambassador Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth, says the Ministry of Health fully supports the initiative and reaffirmed the government&#x27;s commitment to hosting and operationalizing the regional center. The Minister of East African Community Affairs, Pieng Deng Kuol, also reaffirmed the government&#x27;s commitment to the initiative, pledging continued engagement with relevant national and regional authorities to ensure the successful establishment of the Centre of Excellence in South Sudan.
