He will be laid to rest on Friday, 15 May 2026, in his hometown in Warrap State.<\/p>\n<p>Remembered as a dedicated patriot and a pillar of South Sudan&rsquo;s legal institutions, Justice Thiik made significant contributions to the liberation struggle and played a central role in shaping the country&rsquo;s judicial framework.
